In August 2020, StrongHer Personal Training took part in a project focusing on the impact of Covid for black-owned businesses and was highlighted in News12 Long Island, Newsday and ABC News! About 20 girls from 3D’s Aftercare Inc. in Baldwin, NY were involved in conducting interviews and creating promotional videos for Black-owned businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Program run in partnership with Nassau County Office of Youth Services educating middle school girls about the importance of exercise, proper nutrition and practicing self-care.
Each girl received their own yoga mat, a book of positive affirmations and a StrongHer self-care checklist. I’m alway grateful for opportunities to share my passion to reach other audiences especially when it involves empowering our girls.
